Talking about virginity at present seems at first sight a matter anachronistic. People Young seems to give the same value as a few years ago to having had sex or not.

But do we really have changed the discourse on sexuality, particularly on virginity, or simply been camouflaged?. Can we say that today has exactly the same value as the sexual initiation of a boy and a girl? Has it really been behind the social order through which it looked as natural "speed up" initiation into the male and "backward" in the woman?




WHAT IS A "VIRGIN"?

When we say someone is "virgin" in general think of a person who has not had sex, and quickly associate with a woman. In fact, if we apply the label of "virgin" to a man, the emotional response is immediate devaluation of the male in terms of childishness or shyness. It is no accident that until recently the whole of society encourage sexual abuse of children-pubertal, to force early to "debut" in a "brothel."

But when a person has "sexual relations" for the first time?. What made gesture or act brand gives meaning of "sexual initiation" to that erotic activity?.
